Aloha and happy Sunday.
Sorry for no post. I have been really busy working on everything and getting ready for the big day. Tomorrow I get my new hip. All of the EKG, x-ray, blood work, and you name it has been done. I have never been so checked up in all of my days. When over 50, I guess I qualify for things to be wrong with me so they look for reasons to be careful.. Anyone have advise? I have participated in a lot of these kind of events, but never on myself. Have had a lot of fun talking about it so now it is time to put up or shut up so I am ready to do it and get this auto bot part installed in me. My new hardware. Does that raise my retail value. The thing is costing me a fortune so I should at least get a new valuation done to see if my price needs to be raised. Oh I guess that is for homes and land, darn. Lots of exciting things going on in my real estate company. Lots of training, moving forward and growing. I am also excited about Lightyear Wireless. If you have not clicked on the links on the home page, shame shame. Save money, Make money, Free cell service, All for helping others do the same. I'm all in so join me. At least you owe it to yourself, family, friends and clients, to watch the video. I promise there are no hidden messages, subliminal, or otherwise so just click and listen. I will be writing soon about the whole experience. I will need the other hip done someday so I will tell you what I will be doing differently next time. Peace Out and LOL. David

When people call me and ask about services like water and sewer, I tell them the truth and they usually pause, and go WHAT? I tell them it is all natural and a beautiful thing.
Rainwater catchment is an age-old method of catching rain from a surface (generally, a rooftop) and transporting it through a conveyance system (usually gutters and downspouts) to a storage container. This water can be used for domestic supplies, agriculture, landscape, water features (like fountains), public supply, or storm runoff control. In Hawaii, most rainwater catchments are used for domestic water supply and agriculture. The process of harvesting the rain is experiencing a resurgence in the U.S. and throughout the world as global warming and population growth threaten our limited fresh-water supplies. With todays filtration systems and UV, you just can not beat mother nature. There are guidelines in the links section of this website that will help you understand it further. When they ask where does the water come from, I say " Over the Rainbow " as a matter of fact. And then there is the POO. We have a variety of systems here and one is the pool. Just a big hole in the ground. There are limitations based on size of the lot and how close it is to the ocean. When to close for comfort of the county to protect the neighbor and our beautiful ocean, a septic system is required. The pool never needs pumped because we have this natural lava that is full of holes and a natural filtration system built right in. Just right and made by mother nature for when mother nature calls, or POO visits. Number 2 goes without saying much accept if you are on catchment and not much rain to fill the tank, well you may want to ask what the house rules are for number 2. When water is scarce then you do not want to flush good water down too frequently. Sometimes behind the bush outside is a conservative approach. Go Green on the Green, number 2 I mean. but do be shy and not in front of aunties eye. Be kind everybody. I want to talk to everyone about the things like VOG, Surfing, Fishing, Snorkling, catchment, property values, you name it and lets talk about it. Real estate prices are right again. I live in Hilo, and also own property in Kapoho. For some basic and specific info on those places, fell free to visit my website Aloha Coast Realty When I bought my first home here on Wainaku St in Hilo in 2000, everyone said BAD AREA….Crime was the reason. They had a drive by shooting six years ago I was told. I am from Birmingham Alabama, and a drive by was weekly. Crime is relative and this is the safest place I have ever been. No drive by has happend here since I moved here. Same for Nanawale in the Puna area. Lived there three years. A great place to live and a wonderful value. Great Practical homes under 150K, and some lots for under 6k. Close to Hot Ponds, Tide Pools, and short drive to active lava flows that excite me and was the main drive for me to move here. David Deweese RN, R B, Owner Aloha Coast Realty, LLC Island Ohana Nursing 808CARE Hilo, HI Some have said " Oh we go off island for that", " Not at that Hospital", " Not on the Big Island ". Well here I go and will let you know. I am a RN and a real estate Broker. I have lived here for 11 years and have heard it all, about health care on the island, lava flows, bad areas, catchment, and where does the poo go? So I am going to start sharing.
I have worked at Hilo Medical Center and witnessed a lot of good and bad. I also have work all over the mainland and it is no different there, unless you have a lot of money and can get the luxury treatment. So I need a Hip replaced. Some are saying, " You are not getting it done here are you? " and the answer is yes. I just met with a very informed Surgeon in Waimea and she is going to give me my new hip on Sept 26th. I will talk about it in a very open way and let you know exactly how each step of the process goes and my recommendation after.
