Just a bit about how I ended up here and as a realtor in Hawaii.
About my journey. I moved here in 2000 after a brief flight over the lava flow. I was the national sales manager for a medical supply company, (am also a RN ). One time in Hawaii I took the helecoptor flight over the volcano and was hooked. We sold everything and moved here. Ask me about how to make the move. I can help. I went to work as a nurse and then one day the sales bug bit me and the incredible journey began. Now I spend my time giving Real Estate tours to all that will go. Show them all of the secret spots, the best deals, and the vast differences in climates and vegitation only minuites apart. When I am not doing that, I work as every business owner does 24/7 and love it. I still practice nursing and a few other, " Well a Lot of other" interest. Helping others makes my day a lot better. I live here with my partner of 17 years, three dogs, two cats, and a large salt water aquarium. We have lived all over east hawaii and can tell you all the good and bad of areas. I run and work with the best team of agents in hawaii and we have two offices. Hilo, and Pahoa and soon to Maui. Where ever you want to go, we got you covered.. I love working with all buyers and sellers. I represent them in very different ways and never prejudge or try to send them in a area they do not want. Service above self is my motto. From homes, to condos, small lots, farms, organic and even off grid, finding what the clients needs are and making it work for them. Give me your ear, bring the family and lets get you headed in the direction that is right for you. All areas are covered from the tide pools of Kapoho, Puna Beach Palasades, black sand beaches of Kehena. Great prices on acerage in Hawaiian Paradise Park and Leilani. Hilo and Puna sunrises and Kona sunsets to Kohala. Waiamea up country as well. Lets get out there and play. Let me show you how to live your moment in Hawaii.. Need a reference? After this long in business I have a lot. I also am a member of the BBB and that is a reference in itself. Contact me and I will get you what you need.

← Kapoho Tide Pools Get Funds Kapoho Fish Pond Proposal Approved → High, Hot, and Happening… Posted on May 4, 2008 and updated 9/13/2011 by David Deweese High, Hot , and Happening!!! I am so looking at the future of the Big Island as the place to be, buy, live, and explore. High snow covered mountains, hot lava flows, arts and culture. Checking out recent rags that are predicting things to turn around in our real estate market as soon as August of this year. I am inspired and love living and working here.
I want to talk to everyone about the things like VOG, Surfing, Fishing, Snorkling, catchment, property values, you name it and lets talk about it. Real estate prices are right again. I live in Hilo, and also own property in Kapoho. For some basic and specific info on those places, fell free to visit my website Aloha Coast Realty When I bought my first home here on Wainaku St in Hilo in 2000, everyone said BAD AREA….Crime was the reason. They had a drive by shooting six years ago I was told. I am from Birmingham Alabama, and a drive by was weekly. Crime is relative and this is the safest place I have ever been. No drive by has happend here since I moved here. Same for Nanawale in the Puna area. Lived there three years. A great place to live and a wonderful value. Great Practical homes under 150K, and some lots for under 6k. Close to Hot Ponds, Tide Pools, and short drive to active lava flows that excite me and was the main drive for me to move here. Lets talk and if you come, I will take you on a real estate tour of some of the most incredible places to be, play, buy, and see.. The primary of this blog is The Big Island, so hit me up and I will tell you everything I know. Tell me the things that are of interest and I will get that on this blog. So jump in, the water is fine, and lets have some fun. Like the Dry side? I was in Kona today and it was incredible. Blue sky and turquoise ocean. Prices are so low there as well. Every price point from the luxury home to the condo or vacant land. Let me show you how affordable Hawaii is today.
